"Obstacles forced my imagination to find new ways that led me to the discovery of unknown and wonderful dimensions. "

Isamu Noguchi

First time the young artist Ingrid Martínez show us she offers her most intimate three-dimensional discoveries and unknown dimensions. A single exhibition arising from experiments, testing and learning, developed from different challenges and personal concerns of a history of several years. She investigates especially the possibilities of stone as material forms and concepts, relating them with the nature and anatomy of it. A personal way to recreate substances and / or natural essences from another element available in the natural environment. Author of this sample selected mainly different types of marbles that has at its disposal, the "dissects", cutting, polishing them and intervening surfaces, finding patterns or details associated with living organisms and parts of a biological aesthetics. It is an idea that seeks to use visual knowledge of other sciences, finding them through traditional sculptural processes. The work delivered is a set of lithic modules with very dynamic organic forms, in many textures and colors that "morphic conformations" are titled. Ingrid takes a term to try to bring the two worlds are the scientific and artistic, however applying a playful strategy, whose main purpose is to surprise with its particular way to observe this phenomenon known is the morphic field. It is also very clear that there is a reference studies on vegetation, biodiversity, and much more specific elements such as insects. One last comment, summing up and deducing, we must mention that it is a project that is showing its first results to an audience that has the opportunity to enjoy it and support it, because from certain artistic visual tools collects and restates projects of environmental interest that durability and strong support.
